Condition:
Media: NM No obvious flaws on either side. Labels in perfect shape. (see photos)
Sleeve: NM There is no cover wear, seam splits, stains. Other than very small bent corner ( see 4th photo) it's like just brought home
from the record shop. (see photos)

Album Review
Here is a rare and beautiful French movie soundtrack gem by Terry Riley from the movie "Le Secret de la Vie" (Lifespan) from '75. The rhythmic multi-layered organ tones pulsate beautifully haunting melancholia on the (6:30) "In the Summer" (a standout track). Soprano sax accompanies organ on the soulful "G. Song", while "Mice" is mysterious with unobtrusive bongos. A Middle-Eastern flavor drones on organ in "Slow Melody in Bhairavi". The short "The Oldtimer" is reminiscent of an old carnival calliope. The (13:33) closing track "Delay" is a beautiful haunting contemplative piece which feels like dream music, and sounds similar to the opening parts of Michael Oldfield's "Tubular Bells". Simply gorgeous and mysterious sounds are conjured up by Terry on his spacey, complex style of minimalism.
Unforgettable and mesmerizing trance organ that is highly recommended...IF you can find it! "Lifespan" along with "A Rainbow in Curved Air" ('69) rank among my favorite Riley albums. -by "thx" Mar 18 2006

We use a Music Hall WCS-2 machine and thoroughly vacuum clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits. Media comes in a new Spin Care premium inner sleeve providing Anti Static, Anti Dust & Anti Scratch features as well as a new poly sleeve over outer jacket. Our records are packed in cardboard pad inserts and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.
