Given the rarity and value of this disc, I am describing it in as much detail as possible.
The disc is in very good condition. It appears to have had very little use, and is nice and shiny. Upon close examination under strong artificial light, a few very light marks are discernable. I put these down to normal use - removing from and replacing disc in its inner sleeve.
The disc has been played in its entirity on my Linn LP12 and sounds remarkable.
There is some light surface sound in places (which further cleaning might remove), particularly at the beginning of the sides. There are three ticks (lasting c. 1 second) about 3/4 of the way through side 1.
The cover is very good too.
There are small signs of wear to each bottom corner, and two minor creases at the opening. The spine is very good. A small amount of the film is lifting at the bottom of the sleeve, but is hardly noticable. There is some light 'spotting' to the rear of the cover on the right hand side. The original inner sleeve is missing, and has been replaced with a modern alternative.
I mention all this, so that you know exactly what you are bidding on.
Overall, this is an incredible sounding disc in superb condition, considering it is 50 years old.
The disc will be very well packaged, and posted with insurance, at my expense, throughout the world
