Description

Rare and Collectible transparent Talking Heads, "Speaking in Tongues" album (1983), designed by American pop artist Robert Rauschenberg. Never used.  In original plastic covering.
Artist Robert Rauschenberg won a Grammy Award for his work on the limited-edition LP, which featured a clear vinyl disc in clear plastic packaging along with three clear plastic discs printed with similar collages in three colors.  Byrne has said, as a partial explanation of the album's title, "I originally sang nonsense, and ... made words to fit that.  That worked out all right."
