Description
This is my VG / VG GERMAN VINYL copy of TWENTY SIXTY SIX AND THEN - released on UNITED ARTISTS Records - UAS 293141 in STEREO. This is one of the classic rarities of German Prog, from a band who included UK members. This copy has been played in the past, hence the VG classification, and I will try and outline a fair description. MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT IS A GREAT SLAB OF PROG, with soaring guitar and keyboards, with suitably melodic and sometimes extreemly strange themes. I burned a copy of this when I got it and it has become one of my all time favourites in the car. A new MINT copy has allowed me to sell this copy. The wonderfully illustrated sleeve is in the same style as Kaliedoscope's "Faintly Blowing" and Nirvana's "Simon Simopath", in that it was made very'delicate'. This copy is VG, with no damage to the laminate, just some edge wear and damage to the bottom of the spine, which spills out about 2 cm into the front and rear sleeves, but is hardly noticable because it falls into the white area of the sleeve. The spine is firm and fully readable with a 2 cm split at the top of the spine. The non-laminated inside gatefold has some light wear in the dark areas, but not ring-wear. As you can see from the picture, this sleeve looks great. The disc has been played. There is noise in the quiet parts, but nothing that destroys the pleasure of discovering this great music. The vinyl is clean and shiny, but there are visible light marks, like withdrawl marks. This record has been professionaly cleaned and so what noise there is, is not dust. It is still an easy VG as it sounds great and has a robust cut, so you will not be dissapointed and it has no scratches, skips or jumps! A MINT copy will be very highly valued indeed, so I have put an honest 'Buy It Now' price based on its condition. A VERY GOOD COPY OF THIS ULTIMATE ITEM FOR ANY PROG COLLECTOR. I am very happy to organise pick up in West London or West End, rather than post! If YOU HAVE NOT DEALT WITH ME BEFORE, PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK!!!!!!
Also...... I have recently been let down badly, THREE TIMES, by PAYPAL, over records dispatched into eastern Europe with registered certification of postage, that supposedly "did not arrive" and Paypal somehow managed to find against me! Also a crook in Canada was claiming records had not arrived and through my own simple investigation, I found another UK ebayer who had fallen foul of this criminal. We went through Paypal's process together, with our evidence and again Paypal unbelievabely found against both of us. The thieves who spoil ebay are winning! - So **** Paypal. Because of this, I am now trying to avoid as much of my money as possible from reaching their hands, so I will accept cash in registered envelope, cheques drawn against a UK bank and IBAN payment into my personal account - which is so easy I don't know why we don't all do it anyway. If a buyer wants to use Paypal i understand of course.
ebay and Paypal's 'seller protection' programme is a lie!
