Tubeway Army - Replicas
Ultra Rare Zimbabwe LP Pressing from 1979!!
Manufactured by the Teal Record Company in Zimbabwe and issued on Warner Brothers (Burbank) white labels.
Featured in the Top 75 Numan Rarities within Record Collector magazine at No-56.
As stated within that feature the inferior printing quality (and re-cycled paper sleeve) has resulted in an unusually dark sleeve making it visually different to all other issues.
What's really pleasing about this pressing is the condition. Both sleeve and vinyl are graded as being in Excellent condition. This is very unusual for African pressings and especially Zimbabwe pressings. The vinyl is almost Mint although I'm grading it as being in Excellent condition!
It's extremely unlikely that more of Numan's pressings will surface from this country given the troubles there.
