T.REX MARC BOLAN ZINC ALLOY MULTI-FOLD LP
Yes, the real thing! Created by John Kosh, maestro designer, this Limited Edition multi-fold sleeve version won, amongst others, the New Musical Express Industry Award for Best Rock Sleeve Design in 1974 when the album was issued. Featuring a nice low number – 000586, it’s in pretty good condition, but as with many of these multi-fold sleeves some of the lattice-work has been damaged. The first fold out, the first strand (first from left) has some sellotape on the inside of the fold at the top, the third has some sellotape on the inside ¾ of the way down and what looks like the residue of some tape at the bottom – this has just a slight tear on it. Folds 2 & 3 are without tears on the lattice-work. Some cream masking-tape has been stuck on the inside of the third fold at the top, where the top-spine has broken. This may be removable. Left and other spines are unbroken and clean. There are a few creases on the sleeve but in general it’s clean, the inner bag is per usual and the disc itself is immaculate, with the exception of a very fine mark on side 1.
