Description
Trash - Golden Slumbers / Trash Can. APPLE 17.
Trash 1969 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of 'Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / Trash Can' 7" single. Released on the 26th September 1969, and offered here in stunning EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition. Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested with NO faults. Light crackle between tracks. NO problems at all.
This is one of the rarest UK Apple releases to obtain. It only just made the UK charts in 1969, peaking at number 35. Quite surprising as the a-side is of course a Lennon/McCartney track (unreleased as a single) taken from The Beatles 'Abbey Road' LP released the same year. These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. This comes fully complete housed within the original Apple Records sleeve.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. APPLE 17 A-1 KT 5 AM
Side 2. APPLE 17 B-1 KT 1 R
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.
Both labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition. Both sides have 'EVA' written neatly.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
UK Recorded postage is: £2.25. EU Recorded Postage is: £7.55. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £10.95. Combined postage is available.
VINYL VISUALLY GRADED BASED ON UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADES WITH A + OR -.
