We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Tales From Topographic Oceans is by far the most controversial album by YES and it was a highly ambitious affair. Even among the pomposity of progressive albums, not too many people were making double albums consisting of four 20-minute songs. For admirers of YES it is an artistic pinnacle of the band and it is hard to deny the sheer skill necessary to undertake this sprawling epic. Though broken up into four sections, TALES greeted 1973 listeners as a single composition spread across four sides of a double album. This was unprecedented in the world of mainstream rock. For the band, it was the closest they would ever come to a true fusion of classical structures and themes with rock-oriented instrumentation and sensibilities. The lyrics are typically elliptical and spiritually oriented, and many a good trip was probably launched by riding the waves of this epic. The real pleasure of this album lies in the elaborately textured, harmonically sophisticated interaction between keyboardist Rick Wakeman, guitarist Steve Howe, and highly melodic bassist Chris Squire. All three were at the peak of their instrumental prowess on TALES, and listening to them interact is like watching a fine athlete excelling at his chosen sport.

CONDITION: The cover:  Thick gatefold is solid and colorful, having no more than a touch of wear, looks strong, rated "EX" (excellent) ...has a small promo saw mark at bottom right. NO cut corners, no split saeams, no bends, no writing. Includes a scarce round song titles sticker on front cover AND a orange PROMO sticker on front which only raises the value as a pre-release limited edition...

The vinyl: is all glossy over all 4 sides M- and plays fantastic ... all 4 white label promos are CLEAN
