We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. CLEAN .....Original 1970 first pressing with thick gatefold cover ... one of the championed hardrock thrillers in the bands long career .... "LOOKING IN" with SAVOY BROWN

With flamboyant lead vocalist Chris Youlden's decision to quit Savoy Brown's ranks in mid 1970, due in part, or more than in part, due to his heroin use, the remaining quartet pledged to continue purely as a foursome, guitarist Lonesome Dave Peverett assuming Youlden's role as he had occasionally done in the past when his cigar, fur coat and top hat-sporting compatriot was unavailable (see above).

Just when it seemed the band might finally be making their long overdue international breakthrough, Simmonds broke up the aggregation owing, he told press men, to a difference of opinion over future musical direction. Peverett, Stevens and drummer Roger Earle then assembled their own unit, Foghat, where they were augmented by electric and slide guitarist Rod Price, previously with Shakey Vic's Blues Ensemble and Black Cat Bones.

1970's Looking In is one of this band's best efforts. Kim Simmonds is utterly bewildering on guitar, while Lonesome Dave Peverett does a fine job taking over lead singing duties from Chris Youlden. But it's the captivating driving arrangements and alluring ease of the music that makes this a superb listen. The pleading strain transformed through Simmonds' guitar on "Money Can't Save Your Soul" is mud-thick with raw blues, and the comfort of "Sunday Night" is extremely smooth and laid back. "Take It Easy" sounds are doused with relaxed guitar fingering. The entire album is saturated with heavy-edged British blues sound but the pace and the marbled strands of bubbly instrumental perkiness fill it with life. Even the ripping hard cooking "Leaving Again" is appealing with its infectious hooks, capped off with a heart-stopping guitar solos. This album along with Street Corner Talking best exemplify the early 70's era of Savoy Brown and their tranquilizing style.
