This box contains 3 discs.
A standard 12" UK pressing of In the Neighbourhood, Singapore, Tango till They're Sore, and 16 Shells. The last 2 tracks recorded live in Paris.
A US 12" 45 Raindogs Promo. On Side 1, Tom talks briefly about the tracks on Raindogs. Side 2 has three tracks from the LP, Hang Down Your Head, Downtown Train, and Clap Hands.
A Conversation with Tom Waits. Tom talks at length about each track, before the track is played, in full. The descriptions last from 42 seconds, to almost 3 minutes, so they contain a lot of interesting detail. In all, over 22 minutes of info.
I bought this from a chart return shop 25 years ago. It was sealed, and has only been played twice. It should be Mint, but, the box is a bit rubbed in two corners. And Old Father Time has been at work on the Conversation sleeve. There are a few minute age spots on the front, and a postage stamp sized browned patch on the rear, see pic.7.
The vinyl plays EX throughout, but again I need to point out that Conversation has a couple of light, and totally inaudible, surface marks, on one side of the vinyl. They were there when I broke the seal, so I guess we have to thank a cack-handed numpty at the pressing plant for this. The labels are clean, and there are no spindle marks.
