Monk Higgins - Extra Soul Perception on Solid State( a division of United Artists) Records, original US pressing. Cat. # SS 18046. This LP is very rare and sought after, definitely the rarest Monk Higgins LP. I bought this LP sealed a couple of months ago for a pretty expensive amount, only played it once, and is in absolute Mint Condition. Completely flawless, no promo markings, edgewear, nothing. This LP is instrumental jazz funk at it's finest, includes the track 'Little Green Apples' sampled by Gang Starr for their track 'Code Of The Streets'. The only sample taken to date from this LP which means there's a whole lot more that can be sampled. Also includes an excellent version of 'The Look Of Slim'. A must have. *There is a Reserve on this one but it's very considerable, considering what I spent originally.
