Description

  To all collectors of Brazilian black music, I offer three rare items from our father's soul Brazilian TIM MAIA.   Tim Maia Racional, LP Vol. 1  
 Tim Maia Racional, Vol. 1 is the fifth studio album by Brazilian singer and composer TimMaia. Launched in 1975 by the label Seroma (owned by Timhimself),    Rational was marked by the letters of devotion to theRational Culture - philosophical-religious sect with which Tim was involved at the time - and the sound that sent  the names of thesoul and funknorte-American, like Barry White, Marvin Gaye and George Clinton.Paulinho Guitarra, who participated in the recording disk, said  the bases were recorded in late 1974, but the adherence of theRational Culture Tim made ??the singer changed the lyrics andsong titles. This conversion was a  significant change in the troubled singer's personal life, he stopped drinking and usingdrugs, which directly and positively reflected in the quality of itsknown  powerful voice. His disenchantment with the Rational Culture, however, meant that Tim went for a record of movement,making a hard Rational rare until its CD  reissue by Trama in 2006.
Although Tim Maia's own grief over the album and the harshcriticism at the time of its release, Rational is considered one of the best moments of the singer's career, with the remainingoriginal discs becoming rare items and high value. The U.S. magazine Rolling Stone in its list of 100 greatest albums of Brazilian music, the album listed in 17th position.
