THURL RAVENSCROFT (Tony The Tiger) promo 45
Undated promo 45 for Owens-Illinois (a packaging & container company), "Cool Cool Bottle/Pompilio Papa" (O-I 45-1). A-side is a testament to the appeal of bottled beer. The bottle manufacturer deemed it "catchy". B-side is a completely unrelated calypso track. Thurl is best known as the voice of Tony The Tiger and the singer from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. His unmistakable talent is also heard in Disney's Haunted Mansion. Nice VG++ wax has Thurl credited on both sides. Diecut card sleeve is VG+. Only one I've seen.
