12" LP ROULETTE SR 42038 RARE ORIGINAL USA STEREO ISSUE

When the band THE GOOD IDEA disintegrated in 1969, organ player John Miesen landed a deal with Roulette which he later explored with Thundertree. The band, whose members hailed from Minenapolis, was formed by Miesen and vocalist/guitarist Bill Hallquist. They managed one album for Roulette which appeared in 1970 featuring a combination of psychedelia and progressivism. It turned out to be a highly-experimental album which became an increasingly hard to find collectors item. The emphasis is on psych guitar and organ bursting for an album bristling with new ideas and innovation. Later miesen dissappeared while Hallquist went on to record 2 solo albums under the name of Persephone Billy, both of which display a pleasant dreamy folk rock style.
