Pink/White Label Stereo Original D pressing 1970 LABEL / LABELCODE MATRIX NUMBERS EXTRAS GRADING Vogue LDVS 17214 17.214-A & B Front-Only Laminated Single Cover EX+/EX+ DESCRIPTION When the band "The Good Idea" disintegrated in 1969, organist John Miesen landed a deal with Roulette on the basis of an unreleased "The Good Idea" track which he later explored with Thundertree. Thundertree, whose members hailed from Minneapolis, was formed by Miesen and vocalist/guitarist Bill Hallquist to exploit the former's fortuitous Roulette contract. The band managed only this one eponymous album which appeared in 1970, but a combination of psychedelia and progressivism turned a highly-experimental album into an increasingly hard to find collectable. The emphasis is very much on psych guitar and organ, and generally the album bristles with new ideas and innovation. CONDITIONS RECORD: Visually both sides are deep shiney black and has all of its original gloss, seen in critical 100W light! Both sides are in EXCELLENT+ condition with only small amount of tiny hair line marks from being removed from the inner sleeve and a few non-audible scuffs. Both sides of this great album play without almost any clicks, pops or crackles. No scratches. The sound quality is full and unworn. LABELS: Both labels in EXCELLENT+ condition with only minimal spindle marks. COVER: Front-only laminated single cover in great conditon! No creases. No tape. No splits. No writings, no stamps, no stickers. The wonderful unlaminated rear has just a little wear and tiny spots!! This legendary cover is a at least EXCELLENT+!
