Gatefold sleeve in EX condition, vinyl in EX-! Sleeve has some tight lamination pull, and creasing. Symptomatic of the poor quality of sleeves in SA in the later 60's and early 70's.

I have been the music business, as a musician, radio presenter and collector for 20 years. I specialize in SOUTHERN AFRICAN PRESSED collectable vinyl's but also have a huge collection of 60's, 70's, 80's and even present day RARE "INTERNATIONAL" pressings (I do list rare CD's from time to time).

Please note I look at the VINYL FIRST and sleeve second! I generally use the RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM (My vinyl^s are usually in VG to Ex condition but sleeves may not always be, hence make sure you read my comments per item! See "Grading " section for further information. When it comes to 45's, I try to retain the orginal sleeve in attempt to maintain the authenticity of the 45!

GRADING:

Even though I use the RECORD COLLECTOR'S GRADING SYSTEM, as per the RECORD COLLECTOR RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDE, PERCEPTIONS OF A CONDITION OF AN ITEM VARY FROM PERSON TO PERSON!

MINT: (M)
The record itself is in a brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: (EX)
The record shows some sign o having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: (VG)
The record has obviously been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items is acceptable.

GOOD: (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality is noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some deterioration and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly torn, stained and/or defaced.
