Description
I will be selling much of my own personal vinyl collection over the coming weeks. This is myTheir Satanic Majesties Request by the Stones in 1967.I have owned this album from new in 1967and so I believe it is a very early edition.. I will deal briefly with ALL aspects of the set but if you have any questions I will try to answer them. I have sold many items on EBay including vinyl discs.
1 The sleeve is in very good/excellent condition and the inner gatefold is excellent also. The front cover is a TRUE 3-D picture with the plastic cover and 'moving heads'.
2 The record has a good shine to it and some extremely minor surface marks, but is generally almost mint and plays superbly with the odd crackle in quieter moments. The only mark of any slight note is a small surface scratch on Track 1 Side 1 but it does NOT affect the quality and there are NO jumps, sticking or 'clicks' at all. I believe this to be an early pressing and the matrix numbers are ZAL-8126-T2-6K and ZAL-8127-T2-7K. Other inscripions in the disc are the initials RT andthe lettersUG side 1 and UH side 2.. The labels are excellent except(see photo) as with MOST of my albums I sellotaped my name on & put two adhesive discs to denote the 'A' side in poor light.( Sacrilege I know but it seemed like a good idea at the time 40 years ago!) However I believe they should be easy to remove in most cases as some have already fallen off in the passing of time. I will leave it up to the winner to decide what to do with them.
3 The inner record sleeve is the original red version of the outer sleeve and is in very good condition.
That's it.I've been as honest as I can & I think the new owner will be well pleased with their purchase, but I do have a returns policy if you're not.I don't want to get into the whole grading process as it would seem to be inconsistently applied. Overall I think this album is a 'gem' condition wise for 41years old!
P&P is £3.50 RECORDED DELIVERY or £5.50 SPECIAL DELIVERY(recommended) at Buyer's discretion.Overseas shipping is £8.00 International signed for in Europe and £10.00 Worldwide International signed for.(OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS PAYPAL ONLY).
