Description
The Wonder Stuff - Official BPI Award presented to Record Producer
This is a genuine BPI British music industry Gold Award for 100,000 sales of the album, ‘HUP’. It was presented in 1989 to the album's producer, Pat Collier. This award is in a gold metal frame measuring 16x20 inches (41x51cms) and is in good condition. The plaque mounted below the record includes the BPI logo and the following text:

of more than 100,000 copies of the
POLYDOR
album “HUP” 1989
BPI (British Phonographic Industry) awards are the British equivalent of American RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, record companies and others in the music industry that contributed to the success of a record. This is an official music industry award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
