DETAILED GRADING EXPLANATION BELOW.

money back guarantee if not satisfied! ALWAYS! ~

IMPORTANT ** I CLEAN AND GRADE EVERY RECORD UNDER A 100W DESK LAMP BULB, WITH AN ADDITIONAL OVERHEAD FLUORESCENT. I GRADE CONSERVATIVELY AND GENERALLY DON'T BOTHER WITH ANYTHING THAT'S NOT CLOSE TO "MINTY" TO BEGIN WITH.  I DON'T LIST RECORDS WITH ANYTHING MORE THAN EXTREMELY SUPERFICIAL SLEEVE-WEAR (unless specifically noted and described in detail). I SHIP IN CUSTOM LP MAILERS, REINFORCED WITH CARDBOARD INNERS AND MULTIPLE SHEETS OF SMALL-BUBBLE WRAP. I REMOVE EVERY RECORD FROM THE OUTER SLEEVE. AND I REMOVE EVERY RECORD FROM ANY INNER SLEEVE THAT IS "PERIOD" OR "CUSTOM" AND INSERT THE LP IN A GENERIC SLEEVE FOR SHIPPING. THANKS ***

*** one more important thing. under eBay's new 5 star grading system, anything under a "5" is generally considered poor by their internal ratings system, and negatively impacts many aspects of a seller's ability to continue to provide professional, affordable services. So please, if you are happy with our transaction, please leave all "5"s. And remember, I mail records within a day of receiving payment, although Media Mail can take up to 2 weeks (although it's usually much quicker). So if it seems like a record took a little while to get  there, please check the post-mark and you will find I mailed it immediately upon receipt of payment. (And the $4.00 I charge for 1-50 records doesn't even cover the cost of postage and custom LP packing supplies!!)

Thanks! Scott

**  GRADING DONE VISUALLY, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED

MINT / STONE MINT: (M): Absolutely perfect in every way - certainly never played.

NEAR MINT:  (NM): A nearly perfect record. No obvious sign of wear. most sellers call this Mint or Mint-. Looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. Faintest, tiniest wisp of a hint of a suggestion of whiff of a sleeve mark allowable.

EXCELLENT: (EX): A superior  record with no more than a wisp of a hairline, faint shadowing, or a superficial needle drag. None of these defects are glaring, and certainly do not affect play.  I use this grade for sweet  records that don't quite qualify for a true NM, but are clearly superior records not accurately described by VG+.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): Played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have light scuffs or very light scratches that might slightly affect, but do not overpower, one’s listening experience. Very slight warps that do not affect play are OK. (This is about as low as I bother with, unless it’s a very hard to find original pressing.)

VERY GOOD (VG): Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

GOOD (G): Good does not mean unplayable! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear

RECORD GRADING:
VG/VG+/EX/NM/STONE MINT
** I grade accurately and honestly according to Goldmine standards.  A NEAR MINT grading from me means a virtually flawless record, with only a supremely superficial sleeve shadow or a wisp of a sleeve scuff. A VERY GOOD or VERY GOOD + means a solid, playable record with MINIMAL, LIGHT wear.  (It does not mean "trashed!") I will occasionally refer to something as "STONE MINT" OR NM/M to indicate that the record has likely NEVER been played and has no Factory defects.

PACKAGING: I ship quickly and pack professionally in custom cardboard record mailers with small-bubble wrap and cardboard reinforcement. Each record is sealed inside a 1 ml plastic sleeve. I have achieved a 100% Positive Feedback rating by grading meticulously and by treating people as I wish to be treated when I purchase something on eBay. *****
