A TOP MOD/FREAKBEAT GEM FROM THE WHO
"PICTURES OF LILY" - ULTRA-RARE ORIGINAL JAPANESE SINGLE WITH PICTURE SLEEVE!
CATALOGUE NO: DP-1539 (POLYDOR /NIPPON GRAMMOPHON)
ORIGINAL 1967 JAPANESE SINGLE 45 BY THE WHO OF "PICTURES OF LILY" B/W "DOCTOR, DOCTOR" WITH A VERY NICE PICTURE SLEEVE.
This hardly EVER turns up with the original limited issue LYRIC SHEET. However, this one has it! The lyric sheet is absolutely lovely, no tears, creasing or fraying of the edges. EXCEPTIONALLY rare in this condition!!!
You are unlikely to find a nicer copy of this original 1967 Japanese release.
CONDITION OF THE SLEEVE IS EX+ (very clean, no creases, spine is fully intact on all three sides, slight hint of ringwear on front cover only when turned at angle under light. Great example.)
CONDITION OF THE VINYL is a VERY STRONG EX (very clean, no scratches and nothing I would even class as a hairline; there are very light paper scuffs on the surface from sleeve removal when viewed at an angle under light). The record plays perfectly on both sides.
Although I have not sold many records on Ebay I used to trade at record fairs and am a very accurate grader as per record collector guidelines. I still collect and love vinyl!
