Very good looking vinyl with a several superficial light scratches here and there, but fortunately they have very little effect on the audio, the music covers most of the background noise, playing a little better than it looks. There is some light crackle in between tracks, audible on the quieter sections, but the loud music mostly covers this. The loud tracks are great with very good tone and volume on all frequencies, there is some audio distortion on the loudest parts which is not at all distracting but needs pointing out for thoroughness, but still plays very well and an easy EX audio with no loud pops and barely any clicks at all. A thorough professional clean may remove some dirt from the grooves and improve the sound...

SIDE 1

1. OUT IN THE STREET - plays with light background crackle, EX audio

2. I DON'T MIND - very light background crackle again, a few very quiet light pops, otherwise EX again

3. THE GOOD'S GONE - barely any background noise, EX+ in my opinion

4. LA-LA-LA LIES - light background crackle, EX audio

5. MUCH TOO MUCH - light background crackle, EX audio

6. MY GENERATION - plays very well, a bit more obvious distortion on this one, particularly towards the end...VG...

SIDE 2

1. THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT - plays very well, some distortion, not much crackle, no pops or clicks - VG

2. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - Light background crackle, some very, very faint background clicks (extreme left channel on my headphones, barely audible) - not much distortion at all, EX audio

3. IT'S NOT TRUE - sounds excellent, none of the distortion, EX+ audio

4. I'M A MAN - slight background crackle, sounds very good though - VG

5. A LEGAL MATTER - again plays very well, light background noise, no pops or clicks again - EX

6. THE OX - some distortion on bass frequencies, but then Mr Entwistle isn't exactly holding back on driving his amp/speakers to the point of destruction anyway! VG+

Plays right through with no jumps or sticks, no loud pops, no loud repetitive clicks!

OUTER SLEEVE:

One of the best ones I've seen with very little wear at all, nice and clean and not worn away like the vast majority out there!

Excellent condition, none of the usual laminate creases! Some slight creases here and there and slightly 'curved' due to the 'pulling' of the laminate on the front face, but will probably flatten out if correctly stored. Excellent spine, still nice and square, unlike most that are virtually flattened! Perfectly legible. A few light creases. Edges are also excellent, just some light wear, whilst the opening edges demonstrate moderate thumbing and handling wear, again not too bad for the age. Back is quite clean which is hard to find, thankfully no graffiti.

LABELS:

Very good, NO graffiti, numerous spindle traces.

INNER SLEEVE:

Plain white.
