Description
A magnificent original UK vinyl copy of My Generation by The Who on Brunswick (LAT 8616) from 1965.
The lightly played first press vinyl with 2B/2B matrices and 1/1 mother stampers is in VG+/EX- condition with only the lightest of surface marks to be seen when critically examined under strong lighting. The ridged black and silver Brunswick labels are excellent, with no writing or damage of any kind, and the lovely thick slab of mono vinyl plays beautifully, loud and clear, all the way through, both sides, with no skips or jumps.
The first press front laminated single sleeve is in strong VG+ condition, amazingly without any half-moon creases, and with sharp unfeathered opening edges and just some light age spots on the otherwise remarkably clean and unsoiled unlaminated rear panel and the inevitable small light creases in the laminate near the spine. All spinal text is fully readable.
A remarkably well preserved piece of history.
Good luck if you are bidding. I carefully package all rare vinyl with the disc removed from the sleeve to eliminate 'knifing' during transit.
