Description

A lovely sounding original 1966 Reaction/Polydor MONO  edition of the Who's pop art masterpiece A Quick One While He's Away.Playback on my 1976 Sony PS1700 Wooden Turntable was a joy with barely any background on both sides.Fabulous punchy MONO sound and to my mind is the best way to hear what is my personal favourite Who lp.During the manic Cobwebs & Strange you can almost hear the late great Keith Moon laughing over your shoulder..It has everything you want from a Who lp and save for their version of Martha & The Vandellas Heatwave it's all composed by the band and a big leap forward towards being a band near the peak of their powers.The beautiful Pop Art sleeve is iconic and along with most copies of this double laminated cover it has laminate bubble, feathering creases and some lifting and edge/cornerwear but still manages to look absolutely fabulous man ✌️.As always see photos for more details.Any questions are as always welcome Thank you and good luck.
