Thanks for looking at my listing, for the fourth Velvet Underground album, “Loaded” on vinyl. This is a very rare mono white label promo copy that was only distributed to radio stations, and has a unique mix that was not made commercially available until many years later on CD.
This copy is overall in beautiful condition for its age, with minimal wear to the jacket apart from some large, pin sized scratches on the front and a couple of smaller ones on the back, small price tag staple holes in the top right corner, and about a two inch seam split in the bottom right corner. The printing is a little off showing the title spine on the front cover. Overall, I would rate the jacket VG+ or better. There is hardly any ring wear on either side, nice sharp corners and no other seam splits apart from the one corner. The original generic Cotillion inner sleeve is also included, but has a large seam split on one side and is completely split down the opposite side. It could easily be swapped out with one from a different record.
The disc plays beautifully and is 90% quiet, with minimal surface noise. It looks virtually unplayed, however there is a light scratch on side two between Lonesome Cowboy Bill and I Found a Reason. It plays through with only a light tick here and there for a short passage, and nothing too annoying to my ear. There are few scattered light pops on either side that were either dust or in the pressing, but overall it was delightful to listen to. I would easily rate the disc VG++ or better. Both labels are clean with only a couple of tiny spindle marks.
