Description

1968 Mainstream Records S/6116. This highly sought after gem from Boston's psych rock forefathers is in great condition. Vinyl plays strong and clear. There are some pops and clicks and surface noise, but it is generally only noticeable in between songs. Visible surface scuffs, but no scratches.There are some issues with the jacket. First and foremost is that there are a couple spots on the cover where the artwork has been damaged. They are small, but definitely noticeable and are pictured. The upper left hand corner has a tiny hole punch which denotes a press review or radio promo copy. The lower left corner is not perfectly straight, there is some creasing, but it is small. All seams and spine are tight and true however. Structurally preserved very well. The previous owner also signed their name to both the back cover and the label, both pictured as well. Hope that is complete enough for you. There is a minimal reserve price, good luck.

 Items that are described as "promo" or "advance" copies typically have a hole punched in the UPC, or a magic marker line through UPC, occasionally there will be a tiny drill hole through the case. In the case of digipaks, there is often a small cut in the barcode. In very rare instances, there is a small 1/32" cut on the spine indicating the product has been "cut out" of the record company catalogue. In almost all instances, these discs have never been played. If you would like to know specifically what blemishes exist, just contact me. 
 Shipping Note: We ship in industry standard shipping packaging. Padded mailers and cardboard boxes made specifically for vinyl. Recently, we had an auction winner try to send back a record with what they claimed was a "scratch". When it arrived back here it was immediately obvious that it was damaged when she opened the package with a razor blade that she pressed down too hard, trashing record, inner sleeve and poly jacket with a perfectly straight "scratch". Bummer. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN OPENING YOUR MAIL.
