THE STRANGLERS - NICE IN NICE - SPANISH RADIO PROMO IN ORIGINAL SPANISH SLEEVE - RARE.
Great overall conditioned and rare radio promo pressing of the Nice in nice 7" from one of the most creative and menacing punk band's of all time.
The Stranglers just didn't care, in true punk style they crashed from late 70's punk rock into the 80's new romantic scene and beyond, never compromising and ever changing while retaining their loyal and devoted fan base.
They upset the moral majority with their Duchess video, graced top of the pops more times than I care to remember and just kept on going.
This single came direct from a Spanish radio station archive, there is a code written in pen on both labels, I think an identification number for the station, either way this is an absolute Stranglers essential, when will you get another chance to own one of these.
Grab it while you can - a bit of light edge / storage wear to the sleeve but overall still very good for its age (see photos), the vinyl also looks in excellent lightly played condition.
Interestingly for this Promo release they issued it in the same Spanish picture sleeve as the released version so sleeve is indicating a B.side - There is NO B.SIDE on this promo it only has Nice in nice on side A with side B being blank.
A great copy of a must have and rare Stranglers item for any serious Stranglers / Punk rock collector.
