Label: Probe - CPLP 4500, Probe ?– CPLP-4500-S

Vinyl LP. Gatefold die-cut spinning cog, uncensored sleeve.

1st Issue. Released in USA December 1968. Track list see photos.

Cover: Circular cut-out in sleeve with rotating 'clockwork image' card insert- through which band and images can be viewed.

Inside spread: Uncensored image of nude girl (A bikini was used to censor a US version)

First cat.no. on spine and cover, second on label. On the spine the caption ''Command/Probe'' appears, on the label ''Command/ABC Records/Probe.''

Labels indicate sides as "Side I" & "Side II" (later copies were 1 & 2)

Matrix / Runout (A-Side hand-etched): CPLP-4500AS-2LW P17. A12629. (B-Side hand-etched): CPLP-4500B-SB-255 A12629-X

Vinyl: Very Good Plus Condition: The vinyl has a number of hairline marks, age related, but nothing audible and generally looks very good. On test it played very well throughout with minimal issues, no scratches and really very good vinyl for its age.

Sleeve: Very Good Condition. All intact – no writing or other marks. Front cover with rotating ‘clockwork cog’ is in excellent condition. The spine, edges and corners have some age related wear but too nothing serious - see photos.

Lables: Excellent Condition

Overall despite the age related wear and issue as described, a very good sounding copy of this rare collectable almost 50 years old LP.

This is my opinion after a test play. Owned by me since new. I will refund buyer if not happy. Buyer pays return post. Will be well packed and sent within 1 to 2 days from receipt of payment.
