Description
I have for sale an excellent copy of the following classic debut single by THE SMITHS;
'Hand In Glove c/w Handsome Devil'
Rough Trade Records RT 131
Original UK Press 1983
The Details;
Both sides of the vinyl have been played right through to enable me to give bidders a true reflection of the quality of the record on offer. I believe this to be the correct way to auction records. I understand the grading of records to be a subjective matter but attempt to be as honest as possible and to treat customers to the same standard that I would want to be treated.
I will have no hesitation in accepting returns if customers feel the item has not been described appropriately, all I ask is that return postage is paid for.
All records will be posted and delivered in appropriate packaging to protect vinyl and covers as necessary.
The cover:
The original flip back sleeve is graded as excellent minus. Some minor evidence of ring wear and light scuffing along the edges but nothing serious. The sleeve is free of any major issues such as tears and significant creasing, marks or staining.
Generally an excellent example of this original sleeve with the Manchester postal address being featured on the rear of the sleeve.
The vinyl:
The vinyl plays excellently with minimal static being evident. Visually both sides retain a glossy sheen, are clean and show no evidence of any major marks or scratches. No pops, skips, jumps or crackle. Graded excellent at least.
Summary
I would grade the full contents of this item as excellent.
A great example of this record - a great addition to any Smiths / indie record collection.
I will be continuing to list further vinyl on an on-going basis. Any multiple purchases will attract discounted postage as I do not look to profit from this. Even if you purchase multiple 'free postage copies' I will provide some form of discount to account for the postage built into the listing price.
