Original UK 1st Pressing with //1 matrix endings only found on earliest copies. Beautiful and complete, this is a truly top condition classic Rush  album
 
Detailed Gradings: -
 
Outer Sleeve: Near Mint
 
The 1st press matt gatefold sleeve is in really superb condition, you would really struggle to find a better example. The spine and edges are in almost perfect condition.  There is one small crease on the back cover which perhaps prevents a Mint grading, but I am (as always) being ultra critical here. Make no mistake this sleeve is about as good as it gets for this LP
 
Vinyl: Near Mint
 
The Vinyl is in Near Mint condition. The record retains a deep black gloss shine, and overall it’s a super copy as you would expect to find from such a wonderfully preserved sleeve. Under bright halogen light there are just a few ultra feint whispy hairlines, this really is a fantastic copy and can only have been played just a handful of times. Beautiful!!

Labels: Near Mint ~ Clean, and with no significant marks. Under a bright light a few light spindle lines can be seen.
 
Inner Sleeve: EX+ : The custom inner sleeve features pictures of the band on one side and is in nice EX+ condition.  Also included is an original Polygram type generic poly-lined inner which is normally found with Rush / Mercury releases from this period.
 
Overall this a real gem, and it would be difficult to find another 1st press copy of this LP in such magnificent condition.
 
Postage and Packing:
 
All records are been placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high grade type which re-inforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers.  My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use. Despite using high quality packing materials, I only charge the actual costs of postage.
