Description

THE SECOND HELPING "Let Me In b/w Hard Times" 1966 Garage Rock 45 RPM Release (No Picture Sleeve) On Viva V-603 Vinyl VG+ Condition, EX Sound!
TRACK TIMES, CREDITS, ANY MATRIX RUNOUTS OR OTHER IDENTIFIERS (If Available) MAY BE VIEWED IN THE LAST FRAME OF THE PHOTO GALLERY.
SLEEVE  VG+ To EX:  Original Viva Label paper sleeve with label hole is in VG+ condition.  Minor graffiti on the inside lip of the mouth edge (not pictured).  Minor general roughness.  Little to no ring/shelf wear.  Minor to moderate bent corners and/or creases.  The mouth edge is a bit rough, a few minor tiny rips and/or tears and bends. Label hole area is smooth, no rips and/or tears.  No glue separation or seam splits.  Sleeve has some rough spots about it and is included in the record package, but  vinyl will be placed inside new heavy stock plain brown generic sleeve for extra protection during shipment.
LABELS VG+ To EX:  Labels are in very nice condition overall.  No graffiti.  Printing is still clean and base colors are still quite bold.  No scratches or bubbling.  Super light ring/shelf wear on both sides and virtually no general wear on either side.  Ever so faint stain at about 11:00 on side two.  No discoloration or fading of base colors on both sides. Fine print is still bold and 100% legible. Near zero wear around the spindle hole. Labels have very little roughness about them, and are in really nice condition overall given the age of the record (see photos).
VINYL RECORD VG+ To EX:  Vinyl is very nice visually and is completely free of any egregious scratches or abrasions on both sides.  While there are a few tiny, very light surface scratches and/or minor blemishes on both sides, they have no serious impact on sound quality.  There is very light visible wear mainly on side one. The very light scratches are so faint they are barely visible.  A small cluster of light blemishes/scuffs on side one.  Vinyl is not dull in appearance. Record still sounds very nice, but has a little surface noise from wear noticeable throughout the groove area on side one.  The record was played frequently on mainly older equipment, with care and not overplayed.  Both sides play back nicely with no skips, hangs or distracting noise and sound very nice.  A thorough "professional" type deep cleaning might enhance overall sound quality but this record still sounds very nice in "as is" condition.
BOTH SIDES OF THIS 45 WERE GRADED AUDIBLY, "LOUD" IN MONO MODE SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE POLLUTION COULD BE DOCUMENTED FOR THIS DESCRIPTION.  NO HEADPHONES GRADING!
PLEASE USE THE LETTER GRADE GUIDE DETAILS FOLLOWING THE SONG TITLES, TO DETERMINE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLAY GRADED.  Any comments not highlighted in the following letter grades will be noted immediately following the audible grade next to the song title.
SIDE ONE:  Let Me In - Audible Grade "B+" (EX sound, some very light wear noise throughout). SIDE TWO: Hard Times - Audible Grade "A-" (EX sound).
"A" * Near zero to zero noise in the lead in groove area.  Clean, crisp, clear overall sound with virtually no surface noise during track play and zero to near zero noise in the dead wax trail off area.  Zero or near zero noticeable wear in the groove area and appearance is shiny with virtually no wear visible.
"A-" * Very light to near zero noise in the lead in groove area.  Excellent overall sound with only very light surface noise on occasions during track play but nothing distracting.  Almost no visible wear in the groove area and appearance is shiny with nice luster.  Very light to near zero noise in the dead wax trail off area.
"B+" * Very light to light noise in the lead in groove area.  Excellent overall sound with very light to light surface noise scattered throughout the track.  A scattered very light pop might be noticed on rare occasions.  Only slight wear noticeable in the groove area and visual appearance is shiny with very light to almost no visible wear.  Very light to light noise in the dead wax trail off area.
"B" * Very light to light or moderate noise in the lead in groove area.  VG+ to EX overall sound with very light to light surface noise scattered or occasionally throughout the track, but nothing of a distracting nature.  Light or very light pops possible on one or more than one occasion.  Very light to light wear in the groove area and appearance is shiny with some noticeable wear.  Light or moderate noise in the dead wax trail off area.
"B-" * Light noise in the lead in groove area.  VG+ overall sound with light or moderate surface noise fairly constant throughout the track. Possible very light or light pops and/or clicks are noticeable on occasions.  Light wear in the groove area and appearance is fairly shiny. Light to moderate noise with one or more pops in the dead wax trail off area.
"C+" * Light to moderate noise and/or popping in the lead in groove area.  Just above average overall sound with moderate surface noise fairly constant throughout, but nothing terribly distracting.  Light wear in the grooves and appearance is still somewhat shiny.  Occasional pops or clicks. Moderate noise in the dead wax trail off area.
"C" * Moderate noise and/or popping in the lead in groove area.  Average overall sound with moderate surface noise almost constant throughout.  Noise is a minor distraction, but side still sounds nice enough to be recorded to another audio medium.  Light to moderate wear in the grooves and appearance is slightly dull.  Moderate noise in the dead wax trail off area.
"C-" * Moderate to semi-loud noise and popping in the lead in groove area.  Below average sound with moderate to semi-heavy surface noise on a fairly constant basis throughout the track.  Moderate wear in the grooves, appearance is dull.  A short skip may/may not be noticed during track's play.  Moderate to semi-loud noise and/or popping in the dead wax trail off area.
"D+" * Semi-loud noise and/or popping in the lead in groove area.  Playable, but a lot of distracting surface noise, clicking and/or popping.  Fair to Good Minus overall sound quality.  Moderate to near heavy wear in the grooves, appearance is grayish.  A lot of semi-loud noise in the dead wax trail off area.
"D" * Loud noise and/or popping in the lead in groove area.  Moderate to heavy wear in the grooves and appearance is very dull.  Poor overall sound quality.  Excessive surface noise, clicking or popping throughout the track.  Excessive noise in the dead wax trail off area.
"D-" * Very loud noise and popping in the lead in groove area and the dead wax trail off area.  Track is loaded with excessive noise and/or popping.  Heavy wear in the grooves and nearly unplayable.  Listening is painful if not nearly impossible.
"F" * Record is cracked, chipped or otherwise damaged to a degree where it is unplayable and is scrap material.  A record with this grade would only be listed in the event it were extremely rare, and then only for collector purposes.

"THANKS FOR HAVING A LOOK"
I am not a licensed dealer, nor will I pretend to be an expert on grading records. I'm just a guy that's been buying and collecting records for close to 60 years. I use Goldmines price guide as a tool when either buying or selling an album or 45. My listing procedure is: to clean the record (if necessary), visually inspect record and/or cover for obvious flaws, damage or imperfections, and to play each record in its entirety to evaluate overall sound quality. I try to simply give my honest opinion of the records' condition without any technical gobbledygook. I believe that grading a record can be as subjective as judging Olympic figure skating, therefore, my opinion may well differ from yours as a prospective buyer, either in a positive or in a negative way. I simply offer a full money back guarantee on any record that I sell if you are not 100% satisfied with the purchase. I do not want negative feedback in the event that I overlook an egregious flaw or if my opinion of the record is beneath the buyer's expectations. If you are the end buyer and are dissatisfied in any way, please contact me immediately and return the record in the condition you received it within 30 days of the purchase date. I ship same or next business day after payment is received. All records with a purchase price of $25.00 or more will be insured (included in the shipping price).
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:  Import duties, taxes and charges are NOT INCLUDED in this item's price or shipping charges.  Also, law prohibits devaluing the actual purchase price, and/or stating that this item is a "Gift".
