Description
Presented for sale, an original EMIDISC of a rare 7" pressed by a London reggae DJ in the late 60s from a friend's copy of the Rudies' obscure track, titled 7-11, originally released on the Blue Cat label, a very under played and barely known monster boss sound. Looks like UK only so recorded in London too by UK-Jamaican players most likely. It's the real deal that's for sure sitting somewhere just in between ska and the switch to rocksteady, like a slowed down ska.
It's a pretty good copy, certainly good enough for DJ purposes. Basically same track both sides but A-side, which plays the best, is also the better cut, having a 'shicca-chic' ska percussion sound running through it. Other side (in the player below) doesn't have that percussive sound.
This is an acetate do not clean with spirit, item has been cleaned in appropriate manner. Powered by eCommercePlayer.com
