RARE original MONO London Records very first press released in Chile in 1966 by Industrias Eléctricas Y Musicales Odeon S.A. (Odeon Records)!!!, catalog number LLC-38456 with maroon LONDON ffrr labels with Matrix numbers ARL 6791 4N in Side 1 and ARL 6792 1N in Side 2. Yes, WHAT A FIND!!! Another rare Chilean press of a great album!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!!

THE ROLLING STONES’ “Out Of Our Heads” was originally released in 1965, but in Chile this album was released in 1966 with the original title in English and a different title in Spanish (Selecciones de sus más grandes éxitos). This record has same front cover artwork that US “Out Of Our Heads” but the cover is in Chile, like in most of the cases of that  period, UNIQUE!!! Cover is made of two single sheets of thin cardboard kept together for an outer plastic bag. Back cover is UNIQUE too with a review of the album and the songs in Spanish and tracklist in English, translated to Spanish. It’s interesting to notice that in back cover the sides are identified like “Faz Uno” and “Faz Dos” (“Side One” and “Side Two”) but in labels it’s only “A” and “B”. In Side B-label the song “The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man” is misspelled “The Under Assitand West…” and it has the “Serie Stelar” (Stellar Serie) logo at the bottom of the back cover. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER GREAT FIND FROM CHILE!!!

The cover is in superb VG+ or EX- condition, clean, no rips, no creases, only minimal wear in the edges, no ring marks, some little blemishes in back cover. The original plastic bag which’s part of the cover, is in great EX- condition, complete and not ripped. The record, however, is in VG- or VG condition, glossy and clean but with loads of hairlines and light scratches in both sides, which proves this record saw many plays. Labels on both sides are in NM or NM+ condition, almost perfect. And the sound is the best part, a nice surprise, it’s in great EX or EX+ condition the Side A, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only minimal crackles here and there. The Side B is in VG+ or EX- condition, minimal crackles too but some clicks in “Satisfaction”. Overall, a nice record with a not so good look but it’s a complete edition with the cover in great condition and  a superb respectable sound quality after 35 years!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide: 

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP7 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
