Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Beatles – related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1st German Club pressing of The Rolling Stones – The Rolling Stones in Action on the WINE RED Decca label, cat. no. 74307.
The record is in G to VG minus condition, there are lots of hairlines and a couple sounding scratches. I have test played this record and it plays very well through with some pop on the sounding marks and some background crackle between the tracks. The labels are in VG condition, there are some spindle marks and some wear along the spindle holes.
The cover is in G to VG minus condition, the bottom seam is split (about 23 centimetres), the spine has a smaller split in the middle, the front has a small sticker tear mark in the upper right hand corner. The back has a small name in the lower left hand corner and suffers from some light age browning and has some light ring wear.
Although far from mint condition, this 1st pressed German club pressing of The Rolling Stones in Action on the WINE RED Decca label is incredibly hard to locate. Both record and cover certainly had a tough life, but the record still plays very well. It is a common fact that these older 1960’s pressings can take a lot of damage before they are really ruined. This is a very rare opportunity to own a very rare German Rolling Stones club album, a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones fans to complete a life time collection! Happy Bidding!
