Description
Here is the abolutely amazing box set of 11 LPs by The Rolling Stones put out by our friends at Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. They took painstaking effort, using the original master tapes, to craft the finest set of LPs seen to this day. It's also rather rare as only 5,000 were made--this one is number 3,456.
The set features their first self-titled album through the essential Let It Bleed and Hot Rocks, with all the classics in between. The set also come with a beautiful full-color booklet with all of the album covers (including gatefold spreads and the wacky 3-D Satanic Majesties plate) and Mobile Fidelity's Geo-Disc to properly align your cartridge and stylus for the ultimate listening experience.
The set is in fantastic condition:
All of the LPs are completely unmarked VG++>NM and show little to no evidence of being played.
There is a small manufacturing/pressing defect (not a scratch) on the last side of the last LP (Hot Rocks, side 4) where there is an audible click/pop for 10-15 seconds at the beginning of Midnight Rambler.
The majority of the sleeves are also in VG++>NM, with the exception of a couple where the LP broke through a small part of the spine, please check the photos.
The outer lined-wood box has a couple of dings and scuffs, but it's in great shape and will continue to provide solid protection for this treasure.As a bonus for using the Buy It Now feature, I will throw in an original pressing of the Some Girls LP, with the original withdrawn cover featuring photos of Marilyn, Lucille, Liza and Raquel.
