                                         The record was released in 26th April 1964  

Early pressing of this LP included a shorter,different version of tell me which clocked in at 2:49 and missed the guitar breaker in the middle.The early take was soon replaced with the longer, more polished version(4:06) that we all know and love.  In the second printing the song I NEED YOU BABYwas briefly listed as MONA, on label and on cover. From the third pressing the song it was changed again in I NEED YOU BABY.

 COVER: front cover  has some creasing as you can see from photo. Back cover has yellowing from storage and a little cut of two cm on the open side. The two flipbacks one is   excellent and the other,as you can see from photo, it was taped  for four cm. The spines are in pertect conditions and the bottom spine is perfectly readeable. The back cover has a little stain but NO writings

              INFORMATION ABOUT MARKINGS on DECCA "dead vinyl"area 

 DECCA records from the 60's and 70's has three diffrent markings directly linked to the manufactoring process:

                                      Matrix number/mother number/ Stamper letter

Matrix number can be found at 6 oclock on the vinyl. This 9067 is a DECCA file number for the master tape used for this side of the record. Number 1 is the running number of the Master Lacquer made in the lathe machine from Master Tape. THe letter A indentify the engeneer who created the Master Lacquer and supervised the whole process up to the stampers.

In general we can say that the lower Matrix number you have the earlier pressing in your hand.

 MOTHER NUMBER: can be found approximately at 9 oclock on the vinyl. The number is sometimes difficult to see.This is the numberof the Metal Mother used to make the stamper. The high number that generally that is possible to find is 5.In generalit can be said that the lower number you find the earlier Mother is used.

STAMPER: the letter identifying the Stamper can be found at 3oclock on the vinyl. The letter sometimes is difficult to see.Decca used the word BUCKINGHAM for numbering the stamper. The first Stamper to be made from the mother has the letter B, next one has U and so on.You may also find a combinations of two or three letters.

SIDE ONE OF THIS RECORD WAS MADE BY from second Master lacquer, from first mother stamper and from the 8th  stamper taken from the mother.

SIDE TWO OF THIS RECORD WAS MADE BY the third mother lacquer,from first mother stamper and from  18th  stamper taken from the mother.

At 12 a clock of the run off area you can see KT code that was used in U.K. between July first 1963 and November 22nd 1968.

LABELS:  they are are grooved labels and they shows some spindle marks but no stains or writings.

VINYLVisully it retains it's original shine. Under a strong light and 45°  it shows  superficial signs                                                                                                                                                                                                                      AT  THE END I CAN SAY THAT IS IN VG + CONDITION    

SOUND: i've just played the record on my turntable and you can HEAR A GREAT MONO SOUND.

PERFECT NO DISTORTION AT ALL

VERY  REMAKABLE NOISE ON THE SILENT SPACE BUT NO POPS ,JUMPS OR REPEAT

THE RECORD HAS ITS ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE

EXCELLENT: THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED,BUT THERE IS A VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY.THE COVER AND PACKAGING MIHGT HAVE SLIGHT WEAR AND OR CREASING

VERY GOOD:THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY PLAYED MANY TIMES BUT DISPLYS NO MAJOR DETERORATION IN SOUND QUALITY,DESPITE NOTICEABLE SURFACE MARKS AND OCCASIONALLY LIGHT SCRATCH.NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE COVER OR EXTRA ITEMS,WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS, IS ACCEPTABLE
