Classic Rhythm & Blues LP from 1958 by Pre-Coasters group
THE ROBINS: ROCK AND ROLL on Hollywood label WHIPPET WLP-703
Original heavy deep groove record
Cover: VG- , partly taped seams.
Front: ring wear, small tears at top and opening
Back: ring wear, faint tear over entire top seam, faint writing at top, bend at top left, yellowed tear at opening
Record: VG , has surface marks but still much gloss. Plays with some surface noise between the tracks as most records from the 1950s do but without annoying clicks, skips or sticking.
Copies of this ultra rare LP - if they turn up - are usually trashed. This one is still a reasonable copy and has been in my personal collection for many years.

My grading system is strict (No "EX" or "+++++" used !):
M- Mint Minus - a near perfect, probably unplayed record
VG+ Very Good Plus – close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don’t affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG+. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.
VG Very Good - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
G+ Good Plus. In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records.
