The Platter's self-titled ten-inch on Parlophone. With it's original innersleeve. What a record! Opens with the deathless "Only You", includes "Shake It Up Mambo" and my favourite "Maggie Doesn't Work Here Anymore". Super rare in this playing condition. Sounds fantastic. Sleeve is good with some fairly obviuos blemishes, detailed below and hopefully in the photos provided.
Condition: Vinyl:
VISUALLY THE GLOSSY BLACK VINYL APPEARS TO BE IN GENERALLY EXCELLENT CONDITION - CONSIDERING ITS AGE - WITH RELATIVELY MODERATE SIGN OF PLAY. There are no marks around the spindle hole, which is as crisp as a new LP. PLATTER LIES UTTERLY FLAT. LP has play tested both sides - MONO of course. Both sides play as utterly Excellent, hardly ant serious surface noise, just remarkable. My guess is that this beautiful piece of vinyl hasn't seen a turntable for many decades (until I've played it to check it out). Visually it's also gorgeous. There are a few wispy marks but these don't sound.
Sleeve:
THE LAMINATED SLEEVE IS IN GOOD CONDITION. ON FRONT AND REAR THERE IS OBVIOUS LIGHT COMPRESSION RUB. This shows clearly in the detail in the photos provided. OTHERWISE SOME LIGHT GENERAL WEAR, SPINE CREASING, SOME GENERAL LIGHT GRUBBINESS. OPENING EDGE ATTRACTING SOME LIGHT DETERIORATION. BUT LAMINATE LARGELY INTACT, EXCEPT ON LOWER REAR FLIPBACK. FLIPBACKS FULLY GLUED DOWN. IT REMAINS A FINE COPY. Photos are provided but please feel free to request more.
ORIGINAL INNERSLEEVE: nice condition, good indication of how little play this wonderful record has had. Beginning of slight foxing, otherwise very solid.
THE GOLD & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS ARE FULLY EXCELLENT, MATRIX NUMBERS REMAIN CRISP.

Overseas shipping: I've been shipping outside of the UK for 17 years and been lucky enough to have had very few issues. This LP can be posted as a tracked parcel (which is second more expensive choice here). Or ordinary International Standard, but if you choose this option I can't track it is it goes missing.
