Only 60-100 test pressing copies known to exist. Excellent mod/psych farfisa driven sounds all through! A great companion to everyone's summer holidays!
-------------------------------
Garage / power pop band The Last was formed in Los Angeles in 1976 by three brothers, Joe, Mike , and David Nolte, along with associates Jack Reynolds and Vitus Matare. Influenced by ’60s surf, psychedelia, and folk-rock, The Last released their first singles on their own label, Backlash. Their first album, L.A. Explosion, released in 1979 on the Bomp! label, has been lauded as a powerful first effort.
The Last recorded a second album, Look Again, in 1980 on Backlash and distributed it privately. In 1982, they returned to Bomp! for the EP Fade to Black, and then completed Painting Smiles on a Dead Man for Lolita Records before disbanding in 1985.

FROM THE LAST'S WEBSITE:
Now, Look Again (named after the song, and also a possibly clever title for a second album - then again, possibly not) was to have been our triumphant follow up to L.A. Explosion. The material was strong enough, the timing seemed right, and we went into the project convinced that this thing would lead to great success.
No major label would touch the thing with a ten foot pole (though SST wanted to put it out...), we watched our following shrink throughout 1980, and then entered a five year period where nothing would ever go right again.
This album has never, ever been released.

PAYMENT
I would appreciate payment within seven days of the auction’s end. If you want to bid on more of my auctions ending a week later please inform me. I will wait and issue a combined invoice at the close of the second week’s auctions.
However, I am no longer willing to carry combined transactions beyond two weeks and in these cases would appreciate payment promptly after the close of the second week’s auctions.
I am sorry to have to introduce these measures – I always try to be patient and allow buyers to bid on extra auctions and / or delay payment. Unfortunately some buyers have been stretching out transactions to unacceptable lengths so I feel I have no option but to limit ‘carried over’ transactions to two weeks.
