Description

Extremely rare original Jamaican pressing of the Heptones - On Top from 1968. One of the best albums ever recorded at the legendary Studio One! Original UK pressings go for a fortune.
These are super hard to find in any condition and a lot of them don’t even have covers.
The cover isn’t in great condition, it has large chunks missing but most of the artwork is still presentable.
The record however is in much better shape. It has a lot of surface marks and some deeper ones too, but plays surprisingly well. It’s conservatively graded as a G+ but I think it’s more of a VG-. Audio has background noise, some clicks and light pops in places that are more heavily marked but no skips or sticks. Music is still nice and enjoyable!
The labels have some staining and writing in biro, as pictured!
