  • Details:- This is an ORIGINAL Columbia UK Ultimate 1st MONO pressing from 1968. It has the matrix numbers. Side 1. XAX 3676-1G with '1' mother and 'G' stamper. Side 2. XAX 3677-1G with '1' mother and 'G' stamper.

  • The vinyl is in a strong EX condition with deep shine.  The only thing I must mention is a small white mark in the vinyl on side one in the last track. (see close up photo). The only effect this has on play is one fairly soft click. The small amount of spindle marking suggest only a handful of plays and the test play confirmed this.

The labels are in EX condition with only a few mild spindle marks

The sleeve has no writing, marks or tears and is a decent EX. There is some minor creasing in the laminate at the top formed by the shape of the record and the usual mild laminate cracks around edges and spine. The spine is crisp and fully readable. The back is clean with only mild yellowing from age

Genesis is something of a period classic that lies on the very cusp of the psychedelic / progressive rock crossover.
