Checker 1433
No reserve on rare and beautiful original press of the classic doo wop group's first lp. Mono pressing from the late '50s features the hits "Dream of a Lifetime," "Ko Ko Mo" and "A Kiss from Your Lips".
Vinyl is VG+++*. It is glossy with only a handlful of small light marks that cause minimal noise. The chief flaw is a superficial needle swipe across the last 4 songs on Side 2. We played them and there is no clicking.
Listen to "Chicka Boom"Cover has a 2" seam split on top, a 1/2" split on the bottom, mild to moderate edgewear and corner wear. There is a price sticker on the front and a "As-is" stamp on the back. There are no cutout marks or writing.
Labels are black with silver printing and deep grooves. The Side 1 label has blistering and is loose. Underneath it there is what appears to be another Side 1 label. We'll let the new owner decide whether to glue down the top label or remove it. The Side 2 label is clean (see photos below).
