GRADING

SLEEVE: VG

Sleeve is fine with no splits or tears and sharp edges. The reason for the downgrading is that the rear has become a little grubby with some slight ringwear visible. The spine is true and the spine text legible.

RECORD: VG+

The record is in great condition. There are a number of very light sleeve removal marks. These do not sound although there is OCASIONAL light background hiss. There is a feelable mark on side 1 track 2. It straddles the last 5 seconds of hang on sloopy and the first 10 seconds of Fortune Teller (a killer track BTW) and causes a light repetitive tick during some although not all of this 15 seconds.

The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
