Description
2nd time around, no longer registered. Happy new year to all my customers, Some fine rare records to come for 2010, quality assured, no hype or exaggeration and a promise to continue the high standards set in 2009 or your money back, as simple as that.
This is an auction for a rare LP by, The Doors, Waiting For The Sun.
This was released by Elektra records in 1968 and has catalogue number EKL4024. This has an orange label and is the 1st press. This is mono. Please check the pictures for clarification.

Condition: The gatefold sleeve has light buffing to the edges and corners and some light discolour/dirt marks. There is also a little wavering to the sleeves rear leaf. Otherwise fine, spine text fine, no tears etc.
The original inner sleeve has some yellowing but is otherwise fine.
Both labels look clean, under a strong light a few spindle trails can be seen on side one, side two has numerous spindle trails. A few light finger marks can also be seen. The centre hole is close to perfect with only the slightest touch of wear. Please check the pics all on supersize for you.
The vinyl retains its new shine, Under a strong light several light and feather scratches can be seen. I have test played this record through both sides and was pleased to find this has fantastic audio. The above mentioned scratches are completely non-audible with only a few quiet crackles heard at the very beginning of each side, at the very beginning of the last track track on side one and two crackles heard on track four of side two. Other than that it sounds new, strong audio, playing with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever. Certainly playing with very little lessening in sound quality with very little, if any, reduction due to wear, no audible pops or ticks and a fine sounding record.
Graded at VG+ / VG+, have to down-grade this for the few visible scratches and because one side shows numerous spindle trails. The audio is certainly better than graded with the vinyl retaining its new shine.
