Description
Very rare debut Lp from The Creation in 1967.'We Are The Paintermen' was only released in Germany and possibly Scandinavia.This is the original LP Hitton label No.HTSLP 340037.The cover looks very nice whilst the disc has 3 or 4 noticeable looking scratches.These are barely audible and these apart the disc looks very clean.Tracks-Cool Jerk/Making Time/Through my eyes/Like a Rolling Stone/Can I Join Your Band/Tom Tom/Try and Stop Me/If I Stay Too Long/Biff,Bang,Bow/Nightmares/Hey Joe/Painterman.This original pressing is very hard to find as it was made in a relatively small run and only in one country(I think Scandinavian copies were export from Germany anyway)The fact that The Creation have become much more revered over the last 10 years than in the 1960s has meant there is more interest now but even less original copies to meet this.Reissues have gone some way towards meeting the demand but any real lover of music and collecting wants the real pukka thing-the original first pressing!
