Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
WILDLY RARE Terre Haute?/Carrollton? pressing from 1982? on Epic's blue label with FE 37689 catalog number on the labels and spine, 2B (stamped)/3C (etched) matrix suffixes in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two, printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics, G1 (Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Carrollton, GA) dead wax etching on side one, 1T (Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute, IN) dead wax etching on side two, P (Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman, NJ) etched on side two, MASTERDISK dead wax stamp with HW (Howie Weinberg-mastering engineer) etched underneath it on side two only, XG dead wax etching on side two (not even sure what that is) and thick brown cardboard cover!!! Release year is unclear as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the gargantuan, all-knowing Discogs database whatsoever. THAT'S how you know it's rare. LP is VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful. Even has the original $5.77 Musicland (R.I.P.) price label on the cellophane on the left hand side near the spine. A High grade copy with no Discogs entry and impeccable provenance. THIS is what collecting is about punk collectors. You will not be disappointed.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
