Description

In 1961 five students from Santa Ana High School in California formed the Chantays. Inspired by The Rhythm Rockers, Spickard and Carman liked to listen to them practice and decided learn music an get their own band together. Spickard and Carman were joined by Welch who played drums, Waters played bass and Marshall palyed piano. From there it was off to the races. Recorded in 1963, Pipeline was the first album they recorded. This is a key album when considering the introduction of surf music and the birth of rock n roll. The cover does show some wear and the vinyl does too. Still in good to vg condition overall. Free shipping and 14 day return assurance.
