As you'll see from the photo, this is guaranteed to be the ORIGINAL 1963 UK 1st red label pressing, so you can forget about having to settle for one of those dodgy so-called "limited re-pressings" (actually bootlegs) that are flooding the market. 

THIS ITEM WAS FOUND AMONGST A LARGE COLLECTION OF VINYL OWNED BY THE LATE CHARLES FOX.  FOX (DIED IN 1991) WAS A CELEBRATED MUSIC CRITIC WHO, FOR MANY YEARS, SHARED A HOUSE WITH THE LEGENDARY ALEXIS KORNER!!!!! 

HAVING CONSULTED WITH A NUMBER OF TOP COLLECTORS, IT IS THOUGHT (FROM THE VERY UNUSUAL EMI "DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE" LABEL ATTACHED TO THE A-SIDE) THAT THIS ITEM MAY HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE VERY EARLIEST PRESSINGS TO HAVE BEEN ISSUED!!!

Grade (labels): The classic red labels, with "Made In Gt. Britain" text, are in GREAT condition with clear and vibrant silver print; there is NO handwriting or heavy marking of any kind!!!!!

Grade (vinyl): In decades gone by, the general public and DJs had no idea how valuable some vinyl would turn out to be.  Hence, discs such as this were often handled with relative neglect and played on a much heavier stylus than is the case nowadays.  The result is that many discs are found to be badly marked and sometimes almost unplayable. This record, however, has just a few light marks and is strictly graded at EXCELLENT (minus)!!!!  The 45 sits 100% flat on the turntable with NO dishing or Warping.

Grade (sleeve): The correct and original "Type A" wavy-lined Parlophone company bag is a top example, being very clean with one or two of the tiniest light creases.

Why buy?:  This is such a BRILLIANT and PAINFULLY RARE 45.  It would surely be virtually impossible to find another copy like this in ANY condition, let alone this incredible!!!!  So, don't miss this as it might be your only chance to buy an ORIGINAL 1963 Parlophone UK 1st DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE pressing of "Please Please Me" by The Beatles in EXCELLENT minus condition!!!
