On the RED Parlophone label

An early release which was most likely rushed to the shops in anticipation of demand and bears a "Sample Record Not for Sale " sticker to Side A

Both sides credited (McCartney - Lennon)
Side A matrix - 7XCE 17217 - 1N
Side B matrix - 7XCE 17218 - 1N
Mother Stampers:
Side A - MPT 1 @ 9 o clock and L @ 3 o clock
Side B - MPT 2 @ 9 o clock and L @ 3 o clock
Labels bear the information -
"The Parlophone Co Ltd" and
DICK JAMES MUSIC CO. LTD.
Side A centre has the "MPT" tax code embossed
The condition, though not mint I grade as excellent and a stunning looking example.
Only in very strong light can you detect light scuffing.
Slight spindling marks to side B centre suggesting only a couple of plays
Side A centre shows slight creeping of the paper and so is not smooth like its reverse, this by no means detracts from its nice appearance and is quite possibly connected to this hasty release!
The SLEEVE is the correct (TYPE 1) for this issue and is also in STUNNING Condition!
The audio playback is AWESOME on this single as you come to expect from these early pressings, this won't disappoint .
