This is one of a number of records that I have for sale at the moment so please take a look at the others on my eBay shop, Past-Times Records and Collectables. Description: - For sale an original 1st Pressing UK album from The Beatles titled ‘Please Please Me’, this is the Gold Letter Label, please refer to the photos. This really is a great copy so don’t miss it or you’ll regret it, once it’s gone, it’s gone! This outstanding UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial March 1963 release on the gold & black Parlophone label: PMC 1202 Both sides have 1st variant labels bearing the 'Dick James Music' credits on tracks 1, 2, 6 & 7 on side 1 and 4 & 6 on side 2. Housed in front laminated, tri-flip back sleeve with 'Ernest J. Day' printed mono cover, with 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme lower right corner. Complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve. Please remember to add me to your favourite sellers. Label: - The record is on Parlophone Records, catalogue number PMC 1202, this is an original UK release from ©1963. Both labels are outstanding with near perfect gold print on both labels As you can see, there are no spindle marks & only very minor signs of play to the centre holes. An 'MT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label. Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N Stamper codes: 2/GO & 1/H Condition: - The condition of the record is as follows: - A side EX condition; B side EX condition; there are just a few very faint lines on each side none of which affect the play at all, please see the photos again. Sleeve EX condition. There is no writing or tape on any part of the sleeve. The wording on the spine is still perfectly readable with no damage or wear. All four corners have some minor knocks and wear but as you can see in the photo's it is still a very clean and tidy sleeve which seldom turns up like this. Vinyl has a wonderful deep-gloss to the playing surfaces which retain all of their original factory-shine. There is no whitening to the grooves from any excessive play, confirming the fact that this copy has barely been near a turntable during the past 50 years. This would make a lovely addition to any ones collection.
