Description
The Beatles Rarities LP, (SHAL-12060) in stereo. This is the #1 variation of the Los Angeles Pressing that was released by Capitol Records in 1980. The #1 variation has the following: (a) The photo on the front cover is raised/embossed (b) There is no George Martin producer credit on the back lower left corner and (c) Under the song 'Helter Skelter' on the back cover, there is a text error that states "...so you don't hear the classic Lennon statement...". This album is a compilation of tracks that were considered rare in the US at the time. Consists of B-sides, different mixes and other tracks that had not been on any Capitol album up to that time. The 12" vinyl record is in NM condition and comes with original inner sleeve and cover. The cardboard cover is in EX condition and looks like new. The original inner paper sleeve is in excellent condition but has a 2" break on one side. This is a beautiful package for any Beatles' collector who loves vinyl. Note: This album is from my personal vinyl Beatles' collection that I've owned for over 50 years. The album has not been played in over 40 years. It's been carefully stored away in a record box in a controlled area. I always took great care in the handling and playing of my vinyl records.
